Two-Day Conference: Wellington | 6th – 7th December 2018
Workshop: Wellington| 5th December 2018

Serena Williams said “The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up”

New Zealand has made leaps and bounds in its efforts towards gender equity and has a rich history of defending human rights. It is a country that has blazed a trail for generations of women and set an example to the rest of the world. But there is no doubt that there is still work to be done to bring lingering issues to light and confront the barriers that still prevent women from seizing positions of leadership.

Do you want to recognise the best ways to advance your career? Are you motivated to see your organisation change? Have you wondered how you can have your voice heard? These are just some of the opportunities that will be discussed at the Women in Leadership Summit Wellington.

Hear from some of Aotearoa’s leading government and corporate figures, be energised by their stories of overcoming adversity and embracing opportunity. Their success is your inspiration, let’s raise each other up.

Register now to discover how you can be an effective and assertive leader.

Post-Conference Workshop: Building future female leaders

We know that women are currently under-represented in leadership roles in New Zealand with a significant number of highly experienced women leaving the workforce, or unable to get past senior management roles and move into top leadership positions. Let’s change the dial!
In this workshop you will be provided with strategies to move your career forward. While facilitated discussion will help you learn from others, you will build a plan that you can take away and implement.
A series of inspirational female leaders will also join us during the session to discuss their own journeys and the challenges that they overcame, so you can see first-hand that this is not fiction – it’s achievable. You just have to want it.

Key Learning Objectives:
  • Create a strong personal brand that establishes you as a leader
  • Apply strategies to amplify your influence as a leader and tap into your competencies
  • Identify imposter syndrome and how to beat it
  • Prepare yourself for the challenges and opportunities ahead by learning from other’s experiences
