This makes the opportunity to gather and discuss how we understand and treat pain so important. On the eve of a new decade, both those who experience pain and those who treat it are confronted with an ever growing body of information about how best to approach pain management. We hope this conference will be an opportunity to take stock of the knowledge that has shaped pain management in 2019, the information that patients must wade through to make decisions about their own pain experience, and the future directions for pain management.

Further details can be found on the conference website : www.nzps2019.nz

REGISTER NOW for the Paedicatrics Day to see Dr Maureen Mooney at NZPS
2019

DR MAUREEN MOONEY
RESEARCH OFFICER, JOINT CENTRE FOR DISASTER RESEARCH (JCDR), MASSEY
UNIVERSITY, NZ

Maureen, a clinical psychologist trained in New Zealand and France, has 18 years experience in humanitarian psychosocial programming and disaster response.
